If you LOVE shopping affordable online boutiques, you’re going to LOVE my new boutique of the month blog posts I will be doing! This is a totally new blogging series I am starting and this post is my first one! This month I am featuring Red Dress Boutique!

Aside from my Amazon/Target/Walmart addiction, I ALWAYS mix in pieces from affordable online boutiques. A. because I love supporting smaller businesses. B. because the quality is typically better and C. because you can find way prettier and more unique pieces when boutique shopping!

One day I hope to start a boutique of my own, but for now picking out pieces from other boutiques and sharing them with you definitely more than satisfies me! It’s kind of like having the fun of a curated boutique without any of the work!

So since this is the first post in this series, I decided to go with one of my all-time FAVORITE boutiques: Red Dress Boutique.

About Red Dress Boutique:

Red Dress Boutique’s backstory is actually incredibly inspiring. Diana Harbour, the owner, always had the dream of starting her own boutique, but right after college ended up working a 9-5 cubicle job. She realized her dream could slip away if she stayed so her and her husband ended up selling their home and taking out a six figure loan to start Red Dress Boutique.

They had to live on an air mattress in various friends’ homes for a year while they built the business.

Diana and her husband were smart and utilized the power of social media to grow their business. Being an early adapter of social media, truly understanding her customer (she looks a lot like you and me! A modern, busy girl who loves fashion, but not the crazy price tag!) and being overly passionate about her business is why she is so successful. They even ended up on Shark Tank and got a deal with Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec! I love that Red Dress is literally someone’s dream coming to fruition. And honestly the clothing sells itself! It’s all gorgeous, colorful pieces that aren’t ridiculously expensive!

This dress (actually romper!) is from last year and made for the PERFECT Bachelorette Party outfit!

Their prices are SO GOOD for the quality you receive. You can find a lot of items under $50, and PLENTY under $100. Red Dress Boutique truly understands that most of us are ballin on a budget over here, but we still want to look cute!

They have so many gorgeous, fun pieces that you just don’t see at the mall or at other boutiques. They truly have their own distinctive style, and it’s a very girly, fun, feminine feel. I love that a lot of their pieces are truly statement pieces that really don’t need much styling.

They legitimately get tons of new arrivals EVERY DAY! So you definitely will never get bored of their selection! Things sell out pretty quick, so the fact that they get in so many new arrivals definitely helps the sting when something you love sells out in your size!

If you get a little lost on how to style items in your closet, look no further than Red Dress Boutique for style suggestions! All of their looks are styled with items that you can buy from them! So when you click on, say, a skirt you’re loving, they will also list the top, accessories, and shoes the model is wearing in the photo that you can purchase as well to complete the look! It’s like having your own stylist, but way cheaper.

Truly amazing feature because they have their models actually walk around in the pieces so you can see how they REALLY look on! Right there can be a game-changer when you’re making a decision. Their Instagram is SO fun to follow because they will post their new arrivals in stories and in their feed. They also feature REAL GIRLS wearing their clothes, and not just models! It’s much appreciated because we want to see someone that actually looks like us wearing the clothes we’re considering buying because it helps us feel more confident that it will actually be flattering on us! I also really appreciated their response to the Black Lives Matter Movement, and their promise to include a more diverse range of women on their social media and website.
