The best summer sneakers a girl can get and they’re under $100?! Sign. Me. UP! Because aside from my sandal addiction, sneakers are for SURE my footwear of choice in the summertime! And if you feel the same way you are in luck because I have rounded up all the trendiest ones for this season! And again, these are all under $100!

Why sneakers? Glad you asked. With the 90s making a huge comeback in the fashion world, I think we are all crushing hard on everything from chunky white sneakers to keds to Converse right about now! It’s such an easy way to add a casual element to your outfit when you’re wearing a skirt or a dress too. Basically saying like I’m trying to be fun and girly, but I also def don’t want to be bothered with wearing heels and I’m trying to keep it casual.

And after quarantining for over a year, I think we all appreciate a good time outdoors now that it’s basically summer and the weather is nice. Outdoor activities usually require us to be on our feet a lot, and sneakers are cute now so we don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort anymore. Hallelujah.

I’m a huge fan of the sneakers and a cute floral dress look. It’s essentially my go-to cute casual uniform for the Summer! High top sneakers are trending right now and for a good reason! They are insanely cute and such a fun way to give your outfit an EDGE! Converse is of course the OG, but don’t worry I have listed some more affordable options as well! I loveee the platform hight top sneaker look too! Because it basically means I can carry my love for chunky combat boots from the winter by channeling it into chunky high top sneakers for the summer because it’s the same vibe but a bit more breathable for the hot weather. (I think I’m really cool and edgy even though in reality I’m just a trend slave who is on edge—close enough right??)

Okay couldn’t NOT share the classic black and white Converse Chuck Taylors but with the trendy spin of them being the platform version. How cute?? Slip-On Sneakers

Ok this category is sneaky good because I have a pair of these and I cannot lie, I probably wear them the most of any shoe I own in the summer. It’s like a hybrid between a sandal and a sneaker because there’s no back and no need to wear socks and I can slip them right on, but I still get that sneaker look and vibe! They’re not exactly the shoe you grab to go for long walks or really any form of exercise because you’ll definitely hurt yourself since there’s no back, BUT for the casual sneaker lover, these are a must have in your summer sneaker rotation!

This Keds pair is the closest thing to the pair that I own and they look super comfy and convenient. Pro tip: this is a way easier way to wear sneakers when you are pregnant, a life lesson I have learned this year LOL! Because bending over to tie and un-tie your shoe and try and stuff your swollen feet into your regular sneakers is really hard.
