15 Teacher Outfit Ideas For a Stylish Back to School Season

If you’re a teacher gearing up for a new school year and you’re in need of a wardrobe overhaul, I got you girl! I am sharing some stylish but totally wearable teacher outfit ideas with you today!

I minored in teaching in college and did some student teaching and worked in an after school program for a few years as well, so I’m not unfamiliar with how to dress in a classroom setting.

And fun little backstory, I was absolutely called OUT on my first day of student teaching because my skirt was “too short”. It hit around my knees, but according to the teacher I was shadowing, it was completely inappropriate and she made me hide myself behind a desk in the corner the entire time! It was embarrassing to say the least.

WELL, wouldn’t you know, the next time I came back to shadow her, guess what she was wearing? Like an almost identical skirt! Same length and all. I don’t think she knew it was going to be me shadowing her again and the look on her face. Honestly priceless, but I also didn’t find the skirt to be inappropriate in the first place so I certainly wasn’t judging! She played herself.

Also maybe that was a sign that fashion blogging was in my future, I think I influenced her wardrobe!

Anyway, today’s looks I promise are all 100% appropriate for the classroom, comfortable and stylish! So no skirt shaming up in here.
