My MineTan Experience:

So I was lucky enough to be gifted this mitt and their One Hour Express Super Dark Coconut Water formula!

Here is the step-by-step of how I achieved a flawless, natural tan in just two hours ( I let it sit a little longer because I wanted it to be a bit darker!)

The night before or the morning of, take a shower and EXFOLIATE all the areas of your body where you may have some dead-skin build up. (Feet, Ankles, Elbows, Neck) Self-tanning products tend to cling to these areas, so the better you exfoliate the less likely that is to happen!
Pick out some dark, loose, comfy clothes to hang out in once you’re done applying
Take the application mitt and pump the formula onto the mitt. 1-2 pumps is all you need. Start with your legs and work the product onto your skin in a circular motion. Once it’s pretty rubbed in, THEN lightly go over trickier areas like your feet, ankles, knees, etc. You just need a thin layer of product there so it looks more natural and doesn’t end up looking splotchy/uneven
Once you’ve covered all the areas you want to, make sure it’s totally dry before putting your clothes back on
Wait for at least an hour, and then you can shower it off! You’ll see the color run off your body and into the drain, that is normal! Once you shower you’ll notice it is a shade lighter, and more even and natural looking! Plus you won’t smell anymore!
