How to Style Fisherman Sandals for 2025: Chic Outfit Ideas
So ALLEGEDLY the huge trend for 2025 is the "fisherman style aesthetic". Which apparently is simply the continuation of the "eclectic grandpa" and "coastal grandmother" we have seen over the past few years but... fishier? Unclear how this will all pan out, but one way I know I will be hopping on the bandwagon of this trend is buy rocking my fisherman sandals this Spring and Summer!
Fisherman sandals are set to be one of the hot sandal trends for 2025, so today I am sharing how to style fisherman sandals, but like without looking like, well, a fisherman! We want to be giving casual chic, not drunken sailor lost at sea.

I've actually been rocking this trend a long time (since 2021) because I guess I am just THAT ahead of the game. So I can attest that these really are just comfy, great sandals that pair well with a lot of different casual outfits.

If you like an edgy look, get a pair with a thick sole. I LOVE a good chunky sandal, and think they bring a youthful element to your outfits. But if you're more of a classic girl, there are some sleeker pairs out there that look super stylish too!
I find these to be pretty interchangeable with a chunky sneaker, a Birkenstock clog or sandal, and even a pair of mules or loafers. So if you have outfits that look good with any of those shoes, chances are they will look good with the fisherman style sandals too!
