I am SO into neutrals recently. I just think it’s so much easier to style neutrals together than colors because… colors can clash! I also love the idea of a trendy pair of neutral running shoes because it’s doing double-time for you! It can be your sneaker at the gym, or your statement piece sneaker to pair with dresses this Spring. All while being super comfy and cute!

I did a poll on stories on what you girls TYPICALLY like to spend on sneakers, and I found it spread prettyyy evenly! MOST people answered they don’t like to spend more than $100 and then the rest were spread evenly between under $75 and under $150. The least common answer was under $50, likely because that’s hard to come by! But fear not, I found options under $50 that are quality brands you can trust!

So I am going to break these shoes down into categories based on price range so whatever price range you’re comfortable with you can find the trendy neutral running shoe of your dreams!

FAIR WARNING: Some of these shoes are at crazy amazing prices. Sometimes it’s because there are only a few select sizes left! Especially in the under $50 category. I can’t predict the shoe size of every single person that stumbles across my blog, but I don’t want someone who happens to have the right shoe size to miss out on the awesome price either! Alsoooo the prices are based off the price I am seeing at the time of me posting this! Prices are always subject to change I will try to update as often as I can but I’m only human!

Before we dive in, I want to share some hacks and tricks on how to spend LESS on running shoes! Along with my favorite places to shop that often have trendy pairs for less!

Be okay with running shoes from previous seasons. Honestly, the styles really don’t change all that much season to season. There are plenty of cute and still on-trend looks that aren’t the latest drop from Nike/Adidas/etc. So getting a pair from a few seasons ago really isn’t that tragic and they are definitely going to be cheaper!
Buy them online! You can go try the sneakers on in-store, but online is where it’s at to snag more deals and get better access to coupons. Download Honey, Rakuten, and check out coupons on RetailMeNot before checking out! And you can even sign up for the email list or text alerts of the stores you’re sneaker hunting at to wait around for an exclusive deal!
Shop the kid section! If you’re blessed to have smaller feet, you may be able to shop in the kid section for some brands! Typically it’s about 1.5-2 sizes smaller than your actual size.So if you’re a size 7 in women’s you’re a size youth 5-5.5. Youth sizing goes up to size 7. I am unlucky and was cursed with large feet (size 10!) So I can’t use this hack but I had to share with my tiny feet friends!
Know where to shop! Shop the places where you KNOW you’re gonna get a good deal but will also have lots of trendy finds! My favorite places to shop for trendy running shoes are: Sneakersnstuff, Nordstrom Rack, Kohl’s, ASOS, Macy’s, and Famous Footwear to name a few!
