Got a spring wedding on the calendar for 2027? Well, now comes the fun part. Figuring out what to wear!
And if you're anything like me, you probably want something a little more exciting than the same floral midi dress you've worn to approximately 12 weddings already.
I've been looking at all the spring wedding guest dress trends for 2027, and there are so many cute styles I'm loving. I'm especially into the dresses with scarf details and oversized flowers, but I also have a soft spot for a really good satin dress.
Of course, what you wear is going to depend on the dress code, the venue, and whether you're attending a fancy evening wedding or something more laid-back. But I feel like half the fun is browsing all the pretty dresses before you even decide what you're going to wear.

Trendy Spring Wedding Guest Dresses for 2027
Pistachio Green Strapless Pleated Maxi Dress
I'm starting with this one because I absolutely love this soft pistachio green for spring. It's such a pretty color, especially in a dress with a little movement.
The strapless top is super simple, but the dropped waist and pleated skirt make it feel a little more special. I'm especially into the diagonal seam because it's such a small detail that makes a big difference.
And I love the idea of wearing this with chocolate brown accessories instead of the usual nude heels. Such a good color combination.
Dark Floral Scarf Maxi Dress
Okay, this is exactly the kind of floral dress I would want to wear to a spring wedding.
The deep pink and burgundy flowers are so pretty, and I love that the darker colors make it feel a little less predictable than your typical pastel floral dress.
But the matching scarf is really what sells me on this one.
I've been noticing more dresses with these long scarf details, and I'm completely on board. They make even a simple dress look so much more styled, and you don't have to spend forever figuring out what jewelry to wear.
This would be gorgeous for an evening wedding.
Yellow One-Shoulder Dress With 3D Flowers
I fear the oversized flower trend has me in a chokehold.
And honestly, this dress is a perfect example of why.
I love how the flowers start at the shoulder and continue down one side of the dress. It almost looks like they're growing along the fabric, which is such a pretty detail.
The rest of the dress is fairly simple, so the flowers really get to be the main event.
And that soft yellow color? SO good for spring.
I'd keep everything else pretty minimal because this dress really doesn't need much help.
Sage Green Tiered Ruffle Maxi Dress
If you're going to a romantic garden wedding, this is such a pretty option.
I love how the ruffles fall down the skirt instead of sitting in perfectly even tiers. It gives the dress a little more movement and makes it feel less like your typical bridesmaid dress.
The soft sage green is gorgeous too, especially for an outdoor spring wedding.
And can we appreciate a dress that actually looks fun to dance in?
Because as much as I love a fitted gown, sometimes you just want to be able to move around without worrying about your dress all night.
Blue One-Shoulder Dress With a Statement Flower
Another oversized flower, because apparently I have a type.
But I love how different this one feels from the yellow dress above.
The bright blue is such a pretty color for spring, and the big flower sitting on one shoulder gives the dress a really fun shape.
I'm also into the ruffled skirt and the slit. There's a lot happening, but it doesn't feel like too much.
I would probably wear my hair up with this one so the shoulder detail can really stand out.
And silver heels with this shade of blue would be SO pretty.
Butter Yellow Draped Satin Maxi Dress
Sometimes you really just can't beat a simple satin dress.
Especially when it looks this expensive.
I love the strapless neckline and the way the fabric drapes across the hips. It gives the dress a little more shape without needing any extra embellishments.
And butter yellow is still one of my favorite colors for spring. It's soft enough that you can style it almost like a neutral, but it's a lot more fun than wearing beige.
This is one of those dresses I'd throw on with statement earrings, a cute clutch, and barely-there heels.
Done.
Pink Floral Smocked Maxi Dress
Not every wedding requires a super fancy gown, and honestly, sometimes that's a relief.
If you're headed to a more casual garden wedding or a daytime ceremony, I love the idea of wearing something like this.
The little pink flowers are so sweet, and the smocked waist makes the dress feel a lot more relaxed than some of the other options.
I also love the flowy skirt.
This is the kind of dress you could actually wear again for a nice dinner, a vacation, or pretty much any excuse to get a little dressed up.
We love a dress that doesn't spend the rest of its life in the back of the closet.
Sage Green Off-the-Shoulder Satin Dress
This one is for the girls who like to keep things a little more classic.
I love the folded off-the-shoulder neckline. It's such a pretty detail, especially with the simple fitted shape of the dress.
And the sage green satin makes it feel really elegant without being boring.
Sometimes I feel like there's pressure to wear something super trendy to every event, but a dress like this is proof that you can keep things simple and still look amazing.
I'd wear it with a sleek bun, some really good earrings, and a small clutch.
Navy Blue Jacquard Bow Maxi Dress
Okay, if we're going to wear bows, THIS is the kind of bow I'm interested in.
I feel like we've seen enough tiny bows on everything for a while, and I'm much more into these oversized statement versions.
The navy fabric is gorgeous too. I love the subtle floral texture because it makes the dress feel a lot more special than a plain navy gown.
And the fuller skirt gives it a slightly vintage feel, which I'm very into.
This would be such a good option for a formal spring wedding, especially if you're not really a pastel girl.
Dusty Rose Cape Sleeve Maxi Dress
I'm really loving dresses with cape details lately.
There's something about that extra piece of fabric falling over one shoulder that makes an otherwise simple dress look so chic.
This dusty rose version is especially pretty because the color is a little more muted than your typical spring pink.
And I love the high neckline with the asymmetrical cape.
It feels elegant without being overly traditional, which can sometimes be a hard balance to find when you're shopping for wedding guest dresses.
Also, you don't have to figure out what to do with a separate scarf all night, so that's a bonus.
Sage Green Long-Sleeve Lace Maxi Dress
Lace is definitely one of the dress trends I'm paying attention to for 2027.
And I'm not talking about those super traditional lace dresses that immediately remind you of something you'd wear to a bridal shower in 2015.
I love the more fitted, modern versions like this one.
The floral lace is so pretty, especially with the sheer long sleeves, and the sage green color keeps it feeling soft and romantic.
This would also be a great option for an early spring wedding when the weather is still doing that annoying thing where it's 70 degrees one day and 45 the next.
Pink Pleated Halter Maxi Dress
Okay, this dress is kind of a moment.
I love all the pleating around the neckline and the way the ruffles fall down the skirt. It's definitely one of the more dramatic options, but the soft pink keeps it from feeling too over the top.
I'm also really into dresses that have interesting details built into the fabric itself.
It just makes the whole outfit feel a little more special.
And I feel like this is one of those dresses that would look even prettier in person when you're actually moving around.
Definitely a good one for a fancy spring wedding.
Light Blue Floral Satin Slip Dress
I will always have a soft spot for a good satin slip dress.
And this icy blue one is so pretty.
I love that the floral print is concentrated around one side instead of covering the entire dress. It makes the flowers stand out a little more while keeping the rest of the dress simple.
The thin straps and relaxed fit also give it that effortless '90s feel that I don't think I'll ever get tired of.
I'd pair this with silver heels and a cute little bag.
Or honestly, navy accessories would look really good with this shade of blue too.
Hot Pink One-Shoulder Ruched Dress
For the girls who aren't interested in wearing pastels to every spring wedding, I have you covered.
Because this hot pink dress is SO good.
I love the one-shoulder neckline, the ruching across the waist, and the long draped detail at the hip.
It has a little bit of that early-2000s red carpet feel, but in a way that looks completely current.
And I'm obsessed with the orange accessories.
Pink and orange is such a fun combination, especially if you're going to a wedding somewhere warm.
Lime Green Floral Halter Midi Dress
This dress just makes me happy.
The lime green with the oversized pink flowers is such a fun combination, and I love the high halter neckline.
It has a little bit of a retro feel, which works really well with the bold print.
And honestly, I feel like this is exactly the kind of dress I'd want to wear to a destination wedding.
Especially somewhere tropical where everyone is a little more relaxed and you can have fun with your outfit.
I'd absolutely wear pink heels with this to pick up the color in the flowers
Black and Pink Floral Square-Neck Maxi Dress
I love a dark floral dress for spring.
I know everyone automatically gravitates toward lighter colors this time of year, but there's something so pretty about pink flowers against a black background.
And I really love the square neckline on this one.
It gives the dress a slightly vintage feel, especially with the fitted shape and the ruffle along the side.
This would be a great option for an evening wedding if you want to wear florals but aren't really into the super romantic pastel look.
Red-Orange Floral Pleated Maxi Dress
Can we appreciate this color for a second?
I love how bright and fun this red-orange dress is, especially with the little floral print.
The strapless bodice is super pretty, but I think my favorite part is the way the waist dips down before opening up into that pleated skirt.
I've been noticing more dresses with these dropped waist details, and I really like how they change the shape of an otherwise simple maxi.
This would be gorgeous for a spring wedding somewhere by the water.
And I'd definitely lean into gold accessories with this one.
Blush Pink Scarf Maxi Dress
Okay, another scarf dress because I genuinely cannot help myself.
This one is a little more minimal than the floral version from earlier, and I love that about it.
The soft blush pink is gorgeous, and the ruching around the waist gives it a really pretty shape.
But that long scarf detail falling from the shoulder is what makes the whole thing feel so much more interesting.
I'm also loving the idea of pairing blush pink with burgundy accessories.
It's such an easy way to make a softer color feel a little more current.
Sage Green Asymmetrical Ruched Maxi Dress
This is such a good option if you're not really into florals, ruffles, or anything overly girly.
I love the asymmetrical neckline and the way the fabric gathers at the hip.
It has that simple, slightly slinky look that reminds me of some of the dresses we used to see on red carpets in the early 2000s.
And I mean that in the best way.
The muted green color is gorgeous too.
I'd probably wear this with chocolate brown heels and a matching bag because apparently that's my favorite accessory combination right now.
Sage Green Floral Ruffle Maxi Dress
I know we've had a lot of sage green dresses in this roundup, but I really do love the color for spring weddings.
And this one is especially pretty with the little lavender flowers.
The asymmetrical neckline and cascading ruffles make it feel really romantic without looking too traditional.
I also love how the ruffles give the skirt so much movement.
This would be gorgeous for a garden wedding, especially if you wanted to pull out the lavender in the print with your accessories.
Butter Yellow Satin Slip Maxi Dress
I feel like every girl needs at least one really good satin slip dress in her closet.
And if you don't already have one, this butter yellow version would be such a cute choice.
I love how simple it is. The thin straps, soft V-neckline, and long skirt are all you really need.
And the color is just so pretty for spring.
You could easily dress this up with statement earrings and metallic heels, but I also love the idea of keeping everything really minimal.
Plus, this is definitely one of the dresses you'd be able to wear again, which makes it a little easier to justify buying something new for a wedding.
Pink Floral Corset Tiered Maxi Dress
And finally, I had to include a really good romantic floral dress.
Because sometimes that's exactly what you want to wear to a spring wedding.
I love the fitted corset-style bodice on this one, especially with the softer, flowy tiers on the skirt.
The contrast between the structured top and the romantic floral fabric is so pretty.
And the pink print is perfect for a garden wedding.
This is one of those dresses that feels very feminine without looking overly fussy, and I could definitely see it being a favorite for spring 2027.
Honestly, I think the most important thing is finding a dress that fits the wedding dress code but still feels like something you'd actually want to wear.
If you're going to a black-tie wedding, I'd lean toward one of the longer satin gowns or something with a little more drama. For a garden wedding, I love the floral dresses and softer colors. And if you're headed somewhere warm for a destination wedding, that's such a fun excuse to wear a brighter color or a bolder print.
Whatever you choose, have fun with it. Weddings are one of the few occasions where we get a legitimate excuse to buy a really pretty dress, and I fully support taking advantage of that.
