As someone with naturally straight hair, I pretty much always want what I can’t have! (Classic!) For me, a regular curling iron just gives way too fancy of a curl, and I can never figure out how to use that clamp anyways! I used to try “scrunch” my hair back in middle school / early high school (anyone else remember this awful hair trend?) BUT when your hair doesn’t hold a curl you pretty much just end up with a head full of gel and your hair just looks… crunchy. It’s really not cute LOL!
Then I remember in college seeing the Victoria’s Secret fashion show and just dying of envy! The difference in the curl from using my old wand versus with Bombay’s is INSANE. With my old wand I’d have to hold my hair on the wand for a long time to get a good enough curl/wave. And they usually fell flat by the end of the day. And it certainly didn’t give me any additional volume. That video is a true story! We had an outdoor wedding to go a few weeks ago and somehow time just slipped away that afternoon (why does that always seem to happen?) and my husband was getting VERY anxious about not making it to the wedding on time because I had taken a little too long on my makeup! He said we had to leave in 10 minutes and my hair was PIN STRAIGHT. I was not settling for boring straight hair! This was the ONLY wedding we would get to attend in 2020 (thanks Coronavirus) so I wanted to look GOOD!
