If you are a fashion blogger, you know it takes way more than just your website and social media to keep your blog running! There is a lot work that goes on behind the scenes! You have to plan your content, edit your content and optimize it for engagement and traffic, update your old content, and engage with your readers and followers!

It can be a lot of work! So anything that helps us fashion bloggers save time, and make our content the best it can be, WE ARE HERE FOR IT!

Below, I am listing out my absolute FAVORITE and FREE apps that have totally helped me keep my blog running to my standards without going totally insane !

Photo Editing Apps:

Lightroom Mobile App- If you are a fashion blogger, I 100% recommend this app! And then I recommend buying a preset (AKA a filter) that you absolutely love! (You can actually find a ton of quality but super cheap ones on Etsy!)

Retouch- retouch is the best app! You can retouch your photos so that if there is a random person in the background of your otherwise perfect photo, a stray hair that is sticking out, wrinkled clothes, or anything else you just wish you could get rid of in your photo— retouch is an easy way to make small fixes yourself! No high level photo editing skills required!

A Design Kit- A fun little app where you can get creative! Add text, little doodles, flowers, etc. I do this sometimes to spice up an otherwise boring photo!

Canva- the best for making Pins on Pinterest, logos, or product collages! (You literally can make a million things— I made an Ebook on there! There is a paid version, but you don’t have to use that! You can use their free version.

Eraser- I love Eraser because I hate when there is a solid colored box around my products in my product collages! It just looks so much nicer when you can erase the background!

If you’re on a desktop though it is SO MUCH EASIER to just go to the website remove.bg . LIFE CHANGING and way less tedious than erasing the background yourself. YOU’RE WELCOME.

Video Editing Apps:

CutStory- CutStory is the best for cutting your Instagram stories down into 15 second intervals! Stories are not always on the fly, sometimes us bloggers need to record ahead of time! And ince Instagram is annoying and only let’s you upload one minute’s worth of content at a time in stories now, this app let’s you just record for as long as you want and then you can cut it down and upload it with way less stress!

InShot- InShot is great for video content! You can merge, cut, and adjust the speed of your videos. You can also add text and music! It’s very easy to use and makes video editing SO seamless!

Other Great Free Apps For Fashion Bloggers:

Plann- Plann is a great tool for planning out your Instagram feed! If you want to see what your feed is going to look like before you post your content, this App is the way to go. I used to use Planoly but the free version cuts you off at a certain amount of uploaded photos per month! So I switched to Plann instead!

RewardStyle- RewardStyle is not only free, but you can MAKE MONEY off of it easily as a fashion blogger! You have to apply and be accepted in order to become an affiliate for them, but once you’re accepted you get to post your outfits and shopping finds for free and then get paid when people shop through your links! I highly recommend this app if you’re a fashion blogger. SO MANY BRANDS are on the platform, so you don’t have to apply separately to all those brands in order to get approved to make affiliate income by posting their products. Such a time saver! 21Buttons- 21Buttons is very similar to RewardStyle but you don’t have to get approved to use it! Less people shop through their app (more people have RewardStyle’s like.to.Know.it shopping platform than 21 Button’s platform) BUT it’s a good substitute for when you’re waiting to get approved by RewardStyle!

Tailwind- Ok there’s a catch with this one because technically it’s not free, BUT they do have an awesome free trial! (psst-this is an affiliate link so if you decide to switch to the paid version I will earn a small commission!) Tailwind is AMAZING for planning both Instagram and Pinterest content ! It can help you go viral on Pinterest, increase your reach on Instagram by suggesting ideal hashtags based on your niche, and it suggests the best times for you to post! I find it to be worth the investment because it has driven SO much traffic to my blog. If you’re interested, try it out for FREE first, then decide if it’s worth investing in for your blog!
